Special Events for 2008

November 15-16 Civil War military program. Members of several N.C. and V.A. reenactment/ living history organizations will be demonstrating aspects of both naval and civilian life. Time TBA.

Special Events for 2009

November 21-22 Civil War Navy Living History Program. Cannons will thunder and sailors and Marines will converge on the banks of the Neuse River once again. Members of several North Carolina and Virginia reenactment/living history organizations will be demonstrating all aspects of civilian and naval life. There will be sutlers/craftsmen at the program with items for sale to the general public. Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.-7:15 p.m., Sunday, 12 noon-4 p.m.
